“Cheaters suck”

In an update to fans last week, the developer of the popular new battle royale title Apex Legends told fans its stance on cheaters. Unsurprisingly, Respawn doesn’t like them very much, and says it has already banned over 16,000 users found to be fighting dirty.

It’s unclear how many PlayStation 4 players are guilty of cheating, but the studio wants to eliminate them regardless. To that end, it’s heavily hinted that a way to report cheaters within the game is coming. “We have heard your feedback about a report feature in the game. I’ll just say that’s a very good idea,” says Respawn’s community manager on Reddit.

Have you encountered cheaters while playing Apex Legends on PS4? Fight fair in the comments below.
